So in the end, I'm looking to see if anyone found a fix that doesn't involve deleting and completely re-installing Plex. The other option is to delete all files in the database folder but I'm not willing to do that either because it will effect other pre-configured elements of my Plex server. I just don't want to delete something that will effect other features on the server.Įdit to this: I checked the logs and I'm getting "downloadContainer: expected MediaContainer element, found Error" It seems that most people recommend re-connecting previous Plex databases or backups but I don't have that. I need to delete or refresh something before I can try to scan and reconnect the HDHomeRun. It's running the latest firmware, and I am able to view Live TV on the desktop and mobile HDHomeRun apps. The closest thing I could find was this link, but it's not a viable option for me. Does anyone have experience with this error and how to fix it? I'm pretty sure the issue is related to an old config file, which no longer works, that's still present on my Plex server. So when I navigate to Live TV & DVR in settings I see the generic error: "There was an unexpected error" Go to Forums. Unfortunately since then, I've changed routers, Plex has updated, I've moved several times, etc. I've had it unplugged for a while and recently got it setup again. Works fine.I also have an old HDHomeRun Extend that I used to use for Live TV & DVR on Plex. I'm currently running Plex on a Mac mini.
